Warranty Coverage
Watch Repairs USA warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below: Watch Repairs USA warrants this hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 YEAR from the date of original purchase or repair. If a defect exists, at its option Watch Repairs USA will (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) refund the purchase price of the product. A replacement product/part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or 1 Year from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Watch Repairs USA’s property.
Note About Mechanical Watches
Mechanical watches are by nature delicate machines with hundreds of moving parts working to show the correct time. Occasional and accidental abuse can occur which might necessitate adjustment by a watchmaker. Your repair is warranted for 365 days against workmanship and functionality issues that may arise due to normal wearing conditions within the scope of the manufacturers original performance and component design. Components are not warrantied against breakage except where explicitly stated by the manufacturer and carrying the manufacturers warranty, if applicable.
Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty applies to work performed by us only. This warranty applies only to the components which have been worked on during the repair. If the watch casing is opened during the one year period, the warranty will be voided. Case, parts, crystals, winding and setting parts are not covered, nor are electric parts (including coils). Water damage is also not covered in this warranty unless the timepiece is pressure certified by us. Keep in mind that water resistancy is not a permanent condition, as the gaskets inside the watch are subject to deterioration over time.
The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Watch Repairs USA hardware products or any software, even if packaged or sold with Watch Repairs USA hardware. Non-Watch Repairs USA manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers may provide their own warranties. Watch Repairs USA and its Authorized Service Providers are not liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other information stored on any media, or any non-Watch Repairs USA product or part not covered by this warranty. Recovery of user data are not covered under this Limited Warranty. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, or non-Watch Repairs USA products; (b) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not an Watch Repairs USA Authorized Service Provider; (c) to a product or a part that has been modified without the written permission of Watch Repairs USA; or (d) if any Watch Repairs USA serial number has been removed or defaced.
Obtaining Warranty Service
When you contact the Watch Repairs USA, you will be asked to furnish your name, address, telephone number, and proof of the original receipt containing a description of the work done, and the appropriate serial number(s).
